Privacy policy
This policy explains what information A8OM Studio (studio.a8om.live) collects, how it is used and protected, and the choices you have. A8OM Studio is run by A8OM (“we”) as a private, invitation-only workspace for its team.

1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address through the openid, email and profile permissions. Google also sends an account identifier and a link to your profile picture; we do not keep them. If you sign in with a password instead, we store only a one-way scrambled form of it (scrypt), never the password itself.
Content the team adds. Projects (a YouTube channel's name and link, and notes on its style), scripts, voice-over recordings and other media, the plans, ideas and reference clips made from them, the videos created in A8OM Studio, and the team's approvals, requests and comments.
Activity. Who sent, approved or created what, and when, and when each member was last active, so the team can follow the work.
Technical information. Two essential cookies (section 8). Our servers may keep short-lived technical logs, such as error messages, to keep the service running.
2. How we use it
- To sign you in, confirm that you were invited, and apply the role an owner gave you.
- To provide the service: research ideas, plan footage, and create and render videos from the team's scripts and voice-overs.
- To show the team progress and who did what.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. Google user data
- What we access: only your name and email address, from Google Sign-In.
- How we use it: only to sign you in and to show your name next to your work in the team's workspace.
- Sharing: we do not share, sell or transfer it to anyone, except as needed to run the service or as required by law.
- No AI training: we do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model.
- Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- You can remove A8OM Studio's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
4. Service providers
We use trusted providers that process information on our behalf, only as needed to run A8OM Studio. They receive the work itself (scripts, notes, search terms and media), never your Google account details:
- Google: the YouTube Data API, to research public videos for reference and ideas, and the Gemini API, to check that a suggestion shows what a line needs.
- Anthropic: its Claude service plans scripts into beats and carries out research.
- Cloud computing providers: render videos on our behalf.
- Pexels: stock footage search, for projects that use it.
- Hostinger: hosts the servers A8OM Studio runs on.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
5. How we protect it
- All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, and the workspace is visible only to people the owners invited.
- Roles limit what each person can see and change; only owners manage the team and the settings.
- Sign-in sessions are stored only as one-way hashes, and the service keys and connection settings owners add are stored encrypted.
6. How long we keep it
- Account information: for as long as you are on the team, and deleted on request.
- Project content: for as long as the project exists, until an owner deletes it.
- Files prepared on the server for the team: 7 days, then deleted automatically.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you by emailing lanoplimited@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.
- An owner can switch an account off at any time; that person is signed out everywhere at once.
- You can withdraw A8OM Studio's access to your Google account at any time (section 3).
8. Cookies
A8OM Studio uses only two cookies, both needed to sign in: one keeps you signed in for up to 14 days, and one lasts 10 minutes while you sign in with Google. There are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google for them.
9. Children
A8OM Studio is a workplace tool and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Where information is processed
Our servers and service providers may process information in countries other than yours. We choose providers that protect it to the standard this policy describes.
11. YouTube
A8OM Studio uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and we tell the team about important changes. Please also read our terms of use.
