Terms of use
These terms govern the use of A8OM Studio (studio.a8om.live), the video production workspace run by A8OM (“we”). By signing in, you agree to them.
Last updated 14 October 2026.
1. Who may use A8OM Studio
A8OM Studio is a private workspace for the A8OM team. Only people an owner invites may sign in. There is no public sign-up.
2. Your account
- Sign in only with the Google account (or password) your invitation is for, and keep it to yourself.
- Owners decide each member's role and which projects they see, and can switch an account off at any time.
- Tell an owner straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Acceptable use
- Use A8OM Studio only for the team's video production work.
- Do not try to reach projects you were not given, get around sign-in or roles, or disrupt or overload the service.
- Do not upload content you have no right to use, or anything unlawful.
- Do not use A8OM Studio to collect personal information about anyone.
4. Content and rights
- Scripts, voice-overs, media and videos the team creates in A8OM Studio belong to A8OM or to whoever holds their rights.
- Videos suggested for research and reference belong to the people who made them. Finding or approving one gives no right to publish it.
- Before any footage, music or other material goes into a published video, make sure it may be used: a licence, the owner's permission, or a use the law allows. That check is the responsibility of the person publishing.
- A8OM Studio is built with open-source software and tools, each used under its own licence.
5. YouTube
Features that use YouTube are provided through YouTube API Services and are covered by the YouTube Terms of Service, which you agree to by using them.
6. The service
- We keep improving A8OM Studio, so features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may pause for maintenance.
- Files prepared on the server are deleted after 7 days.
7. Disclaimer and liability
A8OM Studio is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, A8OM is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or content, arising from the use of A8OM Studio.
8. Ending access
An owner may suspend or end any account, for example when someone leaves the team or breaks these terms. You can ask for your account to be closed at any time.
9. Privacy
How we handle information is explained in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and we tell the team about important changes. Using A8OM Studio after a change means accepting the new terms.
